On Sunday, the U.S. Air Force intercepted and downed a UFO over Lake Huron in Michigan, near Canada.
The day before, another UFO over Alaska was shot down, and on Friday, a U.S. fighter jet took down an object over northern Canada. In early February, a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon was brought down over North Carolina after crossing the U.S., causing tensions between China and the U.S.
General Glen VanHerck, the U.S. Northern Command Commander, stated that while there was no immediate threat from these objects, their nature remained unclear.
In Russia’s Rostov Oblast, a spherical object was taken out of the sky in early January, causing speculation. The region is near Ukraine and has faced frequent attacks since Vladimir Putin’s invasion.
Russian politician Alexei Pushkov suggested that the U.S. was involved in a new campaign of shooting down UFOs, possibly as distractions or preparation for a conflict with China.
